If you shop at this particular location, make sure you've got everything you need in your cart about 10 minutes before closing time because they start turning lights off in the refrigerated sections around that time, making it very difficult to find anything. The employees do not want you in that store 1 minute past 11pm and after making announcements over the intercom will stand up front waiting and watching you to make sure you check your things out quickly and leave. I ran out of time one evening and only needed about 5 more minutes to finish an order I was shopping for someone else, and I was told that I had to vacate, so I had to leave the groceries that were already in the cart in the store. I was told on that occasion that the registers automatically shut down and payments can no longer be taken, which I find hard to believe. I've worked in retail, so I know how frustrating it can be when you want to go home and there are still customers in the store. But I was honestly rushing around to get out as soon as possible and needed just a few more minutes. I'm sure it took them much longer to put my items back on the shelves than it would've taken me to get the ones I still needed

Great atmosphere and even better prices! The staff at this location are always welcoming and kind , Steve is doing great as manager on duty I had the pleasure of meeting him today 10/10. This store usually has mild traffic, never too loud which as a neurodivergent individual I enjoy and appreciate. Thank you to the store staff you guys are awesome!

I have always had an issue in this specific location Food Lion, whoever is acting manager has some attitude. I couldn’t get her name because she doesnt wear a name tag and never tells her name, however she acts like she own the place and the customers are there she giving free services when you need her assistance and always deny that she never promised anything on the phone when you call Fordham Food Lion. Yes lady I’m talking to you who’s wearing roadside worker vest in the store and yes you are terrible at your work and Probably you have that unacceptable attitude to your coworkers and to your family members. I hope you find your inner peace and be more productive.

will not be coming back to this location or any food lion ever again. I had 3 small items to purchase. I was next in line but somehow the cashiers call forward to assist 2 different families behind me. Used to come here all the time but this is my last time using food lion. Especially considering there is an Aldis up the street
